Tiësto readies The London Sessions for 15 May
Tiësto’s new album, The London Sessions, arrives through Universal Music B.V. on 15 May. His usual touring schedule remains on hold. He built the record instead from an extended stretch of studio time in London last year, working specifically with collaborators from the UK — a shift from the international list his catalogue usually carries. The result runs house throughout. It follows ‘Break My Fall,’ his previous release for the label. A companion video from Timo Helgert extends his ongoing ‘Return To Nature’ series, aimed at lifting spirits during a stretch spent largely indoors.
The tracklist folds in earlier singles alongside the new material — ‘Jackie Chan,’ ‘Ritual’ and ‘God Is A Dancer’ all return. ‘Jackie Chan’ alone has crossed 1.5 billion streams, and ‘Ritual’ has passed 612 million of its own. ‘Last year, I spent some time in London working with some amazing artists,’ Tiësto said.
