Tiësto opens 2023 with ‘Lay Low’ on Musical Freedom

Tiësto has released ‘Lay Low’, his first single of 2023, out now via Musical Freedom, a Spinnin’ Records imprint, dated 6 January — the release lands just after he rang in the new year with a set at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas.

Grammy-winning and platinum-certified, with 38.3 million monthly listeners behind him, Tiësto returns to the label on the release, following ‘Parade of the Athletes’ there and ‘Break My Fall’ before that overall, arriving as he gears up for his seventh studio album, ‘Drive’.

The track leans into deep house, wrapped in choral-style vocals and a hypnotic pull, arriving alongside a recent run of pop-leaning collaborations for Tiësto — among them ‘10:35’ with Tate McRae and ‘Hot In It’ with Charli XCX.
