Kygo sets 29 May release for new album ‘Golden Hour

Kygo has set 29 May for the release of his new album, ‘Golden Hour’, through the label Kygo, and it follows ‘Lose Somebody’, his most recent release there. The label has carried his catalogue since 2014, and ‘Golden Hour’ is not his first outing under that arrangement.

The rollout traces back to March, when Kygo confirmed the record and paired the announcement with a capsule clothing collection built around its cover art. A lead single, ‘Like It Is’, is already available, a tropical house and pop pairing that brings in Tyga and Zara Larsson as featured vocalists.

Kygo has been releasing music since 2013, a run that reached the label behind ‘Golden Hour’ one year later, in 2014. He also marked two years since Avicii’s death this spring, releasing previously unseen footage from a Coachella set alongside a tribute single, ‘Forever Yours,’ with Sandro Cavazza.
