Swedish House Mafia release Paradise Again on Republic Records

Swedish House Mafia — Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell — released ‘Paradise Again’ on 15 April via Republic Records. The trio came together officially in 2008, split in 2013, and reunited in 2018 at Ultra Miami’s 20th anniversary, a moment that set off years of speculation before new music finally followed. ‘Paradise Again’ follows ‘One Symphony’, their most recent release on Republic, and lands a decade after the group first reached the top of the scene. Days before the album’s release, the trio played Coachella and later shared video of ‘Heaven Takes You Home’ from that set, awash in lasers and strobes.

Ahead of the album, the group previewed ‘It Gets Better’ as its lead single in the summer of 2021, a departure from their usual anthemic house style, built instead around broken rhythms, guitar and a cowbell hook fans wouldn’t stop talking about. The trio return to Ushuaïa on 17 July, in a show helmed by The Night League, the promoters behind the venue, ahead of the Paradise Again world tour. Stream it below.
