Stirling releases ‘Testify’ with David LeSal

‘Testify’ hits like a sermon. Tech house built for the peak, driven by a soulful vocal hook that cuts through the low end. Polished but still raw. Underground in spirit, built for a big room. Stirling teamed up with David LeSal, the vocalist behind that hook, for his debut on Farris Wheel Recordings, out June 6th.

Stirling’s connection to music started early. His mum played Michael and Janet around the house, and he was locking in dance moves to MC Hammer before he was out of single digits. He’s spent the years since honing his sound in the basements and small rooms of London, Ontario’s underground scene. ‘Testify’ follows his debut single, ‘All That Really Matters,’ and lands amid a fast-growing run of shows abroad.

Farris Wheel Recordings, the label that helped launch DJ Sneak and Greenskeepers early on, has built its name backing both local and international talent. Stirling’s own writing has already stood out once before: his contribution to the Return of Headhunterz album has since turned up on numerous top-charting cuts in the genre. Stream it below.
