GENESI returns to Diynamic with Hyper

Diynamic has GENESI back for a second EP. The Italian DJ and producer returns to Solomun’s label with ‘Hyper’, three tracks out now — GENESI has said on Instagram that the label’s early sound was one of the reasons he started making music under this name at all. The title track already got its live premiere at Ultra, inside a joint set from Anyma and Solomun.

‘Hyper’ runs vocal chops through a bassline that wobbles under a bright, looping lead line, with the likes of Solomun, Anyma and Layton Giordani already playing it out. GENESI has described his earlier work as further from that sound, which is part of why landing a second release on the label means so much to him. ‘Hyper’ is out now, alongside ‘Capri’ and ‘Right Now’.
