Ramsey Neville steps up to SCI+TEC with The Polygon

Ramsey Neville, the Brooklyn-based producer, had been releasing music since 2019 and, by his own account, following SCI+TEC’s curation for years as a listener before The Polygon put him on the label himself — four tracks, out 3 March 2023.

The Polygon arrives nine months after Motherboard, the release that came before it, and lands alongside a roster that includes Rosper, Damien Fisher and the likes of Hc Kurtz.

The title track leans on heavy percussion and a moody undertow, its melodies pulled toward something hypnotic. Each of the four tracks takes its name from a place or a memory that has shaped Neville over the years, among them Tradesman, Uscita and Münze.

Neville also runs a Spotify playlist called IMPULSE CØNTROL, past eleven thousand subscribers, and has plans to grow it into a label and a party series in 2023.
