Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano reunite on ‘Reflection

Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano’s only prior work together was a 2021 remix of the trance classic ‘The Age Of Love.’ ‘Reflection,’ due on Sangiuliano’s imprint NINETOZERO, is their second collaboration and the label’s third release.

“The idea to do a collaborative track followed naturally after remixing ‘The Age Of Love’ a couple of years ago,” Sangiuliano said. He brought de Witte in to explore a physics idea: sound bending as it moves between different materials.

The three-track EP is club-focused, its percussion sharp and fast-paced, at points recalling the sound of de Witte’s own ‘Formula’ EP. A repeated vocal question, voiced by de Witte, runs through the title track.

Sangiuliano’s anthemic instincts and de Witte’s raw, percussive edge sit side by side across the record, each artist’s signature evident throughout.
