Nicole Moudaber calls ‘The Volume’ her most important work

Mood Records, Nicole Moudaber’s own label, has put out ‘The Volume’, dated 5 March 2021, made in the early days of the pandemic when touring across the scene had come to a stop. Moudaber calls it the most important release of her career, “because it was a very, very difficult period for us performers and artists — like the rug was pulled from under us.”

Alan T, a longtime fixture at Miami’s Club Space, features on vocals alongside Moudaber, both voices chopped and oscillating, stabs of sound threaded through ‘The Volume’.

‘The Volume’ follows ‘Seeing It Through’ on Mood Records. It follows ‘Pepper Shake’ overall. Moudaber’s other project, In The MOOD Radio, turns seven this May, with Nile Rogers and Paris Hilton lined up as guests.
