Nicky Romero and David Guetta reunite on ‘Ring The Alarm

Nicky Romero and David Guetta have joined forces again on ‘Ring The Alarm’, out now on Romero’s own imprint, Protocol Recordings. It’s the pair’s first collaboration since ‘Metropolis’ seven years ago, a partnership that also produced one of the era’s talked-about sets: a back-to-back-to-back run with Afrojack at Tomorrowland in 2013.

Both artists arrive on a run. Romero and Guetta closed out 2018 strong and picked up straight where they left off this year — Romero has already put out one new collaboration in 2019, with a second already announced. The same stretch of early-2019 EDM releases has also brought Otto Knows back after a break and paired Zedd with Katy Perry.

With festival season closing in, the timing is no accident. ‘Ring The Alarm’ is tipped to be one of the tracks driving mainstages through the year.
