Martin Garrix and Zedd finally get Follow out on STMPD RCRDS

The electro bassline under ‘Follow’ belongs to Zedd, and the melodies layered across the top of it are Martin Garrix’s. One of the most anticipated collaborations of the year so far arrives today on STMPD RCRDS, and it sits equally well on a main stage and in a club. What emerged from the pairing is built for the top of the night, energetic and fun-loving in the manner that has characterised both of them for years, and built to keep a crowd bouncing.

Garrix and Zedd — two producers who each developed a sound of his own along the way — have been friends inside this scene for more than a decade. The ideas have continued moving between them across all of it, and by most reckonings a joint record was well overdue. You have probably heard a version of the rumour that they were working together.

The pair finally entered a studio together for this one, and Garrix has played the result out alongside nine further IDs as festival season approaches. He appears at Ultra Music Festival today, where he plays the main stage.
