Martin Garrix released Won’t Let You Go on 10 December, a single with Matisse & Sadko and vocalist John Martin, out via STMPD RCRDS.

The song had already played live for months before the release, which is what built the wait around it — long-anticipated by the time it landed, and strong enough to be argued a contender for the best of the whole year. Garrix first aired it in August, on the main stage at Electric Love Festival in Austria, and the hook streaming today is the one that crowd heard that night.

Garrix and Matisse & Sadko’s production sits underneath it. The hook lands anthemic and full-throated, a chorus built for a packed field, festival scale, carried entirely by John Martin’s voice.
