Lee Burridge and Lost Desert ready debut album Melt

“Music is a beautiful escape for so many of us. A place where strangers meet strangers and strangers make new friends,” Lee Burridge said. Melt, his debut full-length collaboration with Lost Desert, the Belgian producer, is due 19 July on All Day I Dream.

It’s the first time Burridge has put out a full album under his own name, in a career that runs three decades deep. Lost Desert supplies the production; Burridge brings the dancefloors he built that career on.

Lead single ‘Mibale’ reunites the pair with vocalist Junior, following their earlier collaborations together. His Lingala verses carry the track, and the rest of the record keeps a similar texture: layered production, grooves that stay understated.
