Kaskade brings REDUX back with ‘Save Me

Kaskade spent 2022 on the road with Kx5, his project with deadmau5, running a record-breaking debut tour that kept REDUX on hold for two years. Now it’s back, with a sixth volume due 27 October on ARKADE.

‘Save Me’ is the lead single, pairing synths with Lauren L’aimant’s airy vocals over a soft, Afro-inspired percussion pulse. Kaskade frames the wider project as understated, built on a slow move from build to payoff, run through with deep house and ethereal vocals. REDUX 006 arrives woven with melodic elements he calls distinctly his own.

The companion tour has already drawn heavy demand — Cermak Hall in Chicago is sold out, though tickets remain for shows at the likes of Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on 20 October and Club Space in Miami on 1 December. ‘Save Me’ is where it starts, carried by Lauren L’aimant’s vocal over Kaskade’s percussion.
