Flume shares the 17-track mixtape ‘Hi This Is Flume

SOPHIE, credited on two tracks here, and slowthai turn up across Flume’s new mixtape, ‘Hi This Is Flume,’ out now on Top Music IP. The 17-track release marks his first new material since the two Skin Companion EPs, which followed a sprawling tour behind his hit album Skin. It’s also his first release for the label since ‘Hyperreal.’

Flume had promised, at the end of 2018, that he’d “be back in your life” this year, and it took until March to happen. In between, he stepped away from the studio to recover after the run behind Skin. By the time the mixtape landed, it had been more than two years since ‘Skin Companion EP 2.’

Flume’s only confirmed live dates for the year are two Summer Sonic sets in Osaka, Japan, on 17 and 18 August — worth checking if you’re hoping to catch him. JPEGMAFIA, Kučka and Eprom join SOPHIE and slowthai across the tracklist.
