Nicky Romero and DallasK release Sometimes as Romero’s world tour opens

Nicky Romero opens his world tour on Ultra Music Festival’s main stage in Miami later today, and ‘Sometimes’ is released before he performs. The collaboration that unites him with DallasK and XYLØ, the vocalist on the recording, arrives through If Only / Amigo Records. Ultra is stop one of the tour, and 32 further stops follow in an opening phase of the itinerary that already covers North and South America, Europe and Asia.

Among the stops are the Las Vegas residencies Romero already maintains at Hakkasan and Omnia, and the tour reaches as far as Zouk in Kuala Lumpur. It takes in the likes of Laroc and the Emporium Festival in the Netherlands. Tickets are available now if you want one of the dates.

DallasK and Romero have spent recent years on pop-electronic crossover material, and they have continued to deliver the hard-hitting tracks that a live performance demands. ‘Sometimes’ is a summery, romantic dance-pop recording and a curtain-raiser for the festival season — it could very well prove the anthem of the summer. “The lyrics of this song really resonated with me, and I was able to put myself immediately in the mood of the record,” Romero said.
