Electric Forest adds phase two names for its tenth edition

Electric Forest marks ten years since it began, its milestone edition already backed by a longer future: the Rothbury Village Council voted to extend the festival’s site permit by another decade. The event started life as Rothbury Music Festival before rebranding as Electric Forest in 2011. Organizers teased the phase two names with a cryptic video before confirming them this week, and hundreds of thousands who treat the festival as a second home have been anticipating the reveal. It returns to the same Michigan site next summer for its tenth-anniversary edition.
Phase two of the bill adds the likes of Bassnectar, Diplo, Flume, Big Gigantic, Boys Noize, Tchami, Major Lazer and the jam band String Cheese Incident, with more names still to come. General tickets go on sale later this month, but presale already opened 4 December: the ‘6 in the Forest’ tier at 10am ET for six-year attendees, followed by ‘4 in the Forest’ for four-year regulars at 2pm.
