ATTLAS reveals debut album details with new single ‘Sinner Complicated

ATTLAS has revealed the first details of his debut album, ‘Lavender God’, due on mau5trap, deadmau5’s imprint, alongside its lead single, ‘Sinner Complicated’, out now.

The album has been anticipated since ATTLAS won DJ Mag’s Best of North America award for Breakthrough DJ, a title that put a debut full-length on the horizon before any details were confirmed. mau5trap signed a handful of his tracks before signing him outright in 2015, the year he released three EPs on the label, and ‘Sinner Complicated’ follows Charcoal Halo as his latest release for the imprint.

A video for the track, made by Cyclo, the visual artist behind it, accompanies the release and is built around a surreal landscape that starts out familiar before it shifts.

The track builds on layered, atmospheric synth work that pushes forward with a clear sense of direction from its opening seconds. Stream it below.
