Colyn lands Cyclone EP on Rose Avenue Records

Colyn’s Cyclone EP moves across firm basslines set against melodies that keep shifting register, four tracks assembled to play as one sequence. The release lands on Rose Avenue Records and reached listeners on 29 September 2023.

Cyclone, the record’s opening and title track, has been a fixture in Colyn’s live sets over recent months. He has attributed that to “its signature trance-inspired theme and a powerful climax it always delivers.” Signal Received, Rushing and Action XI complete the sequence that follows it.

The EP arrives seventeen months after Oxygen Levels Low, the release that preceded it, continuing a run that has carried him through sets at Coachella, Tomorrowland and Afterlife Ibiza.

The tracks run twenty-six minutes in total. Action XI closes out the sequence, and Rose Avenue’s catalogue also carries releases from Modern Tales and Lastlings.

Colyn works at the melodic end of house and techno, and Cyclone carries that register through to Action XI. Stream it below.
