Carlita reveals Telepathy

Ninja Tune has scheduled Carlita’s new album, ‘Telepathy,’ for release on November 6, and the label has accompanied the announcement with a new single, ‘One More Dance,’ with Stevie Appleton. The single is streaming now, with Telepathy open for pre-save. The track carries a warm, nostalgic pull, built from trance-leaning chords, brisk drum programming and a dreamy, energized hook that rides beneath Appleton’s vocal. Carlita is a multi-instrumentalist, and that shows in the record’s melodic range, carrying her between club-ready material and softer, more emotional passages, while a cast of collaborators widens the sound further across the album.

‘Cash For Love’ is Carlita’s release. ‘Patchwork,’ a collaboration with Paige Cavell, is the album’s single; BBC Radio 1 made it Carlita’s Hottest Record, with bright hi-hats and a bass line that loops into a softer, romantic feel. ‘Manhattan,’ with SOFI TUKKER, became Carlita’s first entry on the BBC Radio 1 B List.
