Anyma and Volkoder team up on Other Dimension

Anyma has released ‘Other Dimension’, a collaboration with Brazilian producer Volkoder, as the first single on his new label, ÆDEN Records. Born Matteo Milleri, he wrote and produced the track independently, setting driving electronic rhythm work and synthetic atmosphere against Volkoder’s percussion-heavy foundation. It arrives as Anyma’s first new solo-adjacent material since a pair of high-profile crossovers earlier this year, ‘Bad Angel’ alongside LISA of BLACKPINK and ‘Beautiful’ alongside Joji. Volkoder works out of São Paulo, and two decades in the studio have established him as one of Brazil’s most reliable house producers.

ÆDEN Records launches today, distributed through Interscope/Virgin. Its debut release is a compilation, ‘ÆDEN: Digital Renaissance Vol. I’, due in late August and featuring contributions from the likes of Kevin De Vries, Argy and Massano. Anyma described the label as an extension of an approach he has carried through his career, framing it in his own words: “Building a community of artists and creatives has always been an important goal for my artistic path.”

Anyma’s next US date lands at ARC Festival in Chicago on 6 September.
