Krewella releases the blueprint

Krewella went quiet after 2022’s ‘The Body Never Lies,’ stepping back from the studio and the road for nearly two years. That stretch is over now. ‘the blueprint’ is the duo’s fourth single since, out August 7th. It follows ‘Something Sacred’ and ‘Without You,’ both out earlier in 2026.

Krewella play Lost Lands, Excision’s festival in Ohio, on September 20, followed by a date at London’s Drumsheds and a run of North American club shows through November.

The lyrics on ‘the blueprint’ turn existential, set against a melody built bright, bassline included. They circle a version of authenticity that doesn’t depend on being seen. Krewella is Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf, sisters.

The vocals still soar. The production turns bass-heavy and hard, letting glitchy fragments carve into euphoric drops ahead of a sudden swing into drum & bass.
