Above & Beyond and Mat Zo release ‘Always Do’ on Anjunabeats

Above & Beyond and Mat Zo first played ‘Always Do’ as an unidentified track last summer, during the Group Therapy 450 celebration in London. It has arrived with a name attached, released via Anjunabeats, the trio’s own label. Distorted vocals ride over acid-soaked basslines across a dark, atmospheric arrangement. The collaboration is the acts’ first since 2018.

Before this, Mat Zo had only crossed paths with the trio as a remixer, reworking Above & Beyond and Richard Bedford’s ‘Thing Called Love’ in 2012. He has also released other material through Anjunabeats in the years since.

‘Always Do’ was road-tested extensively on Above & Beyond’s Anjunafamily Reunion Tour last autumn, a run that covered venues across North America. Two of those dates, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, sold out. The pair also have festival dates booked through the year, with the likes of Tomorrowland and Ultra Europe on the schedule.
