Above & Beyond release Gratitude with anamē and Marty Longstaff

Above & Beyond have released ‘Gratitude’, and their crowds got to it well before today. It debuted at The Drumsheds in 2021, at the group’s own sold-out London festival, so it was a live record months before it was a release. It is a vocal ballad and a hard floor record at once, and jubilant with it. It carried through the winter tour across the USA after that, and there wasn’t much doubt about what the record meant to the group’s fan community — that run moved close to 70,000 tickets.

The change on this one is in the credit. Above & Beyond teamed up with anamē here, and it’s the alias’s first outing. Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad are the two behind it. Marty Longstaff is back on the label alongside them. Two versions are out now via Anjunabeats (the original and an extended mix). A string of 2022 festival dates has been announced for London and Los Angeles, and for The Gorge Amphitheatre. If you’d rather hear what a room does with it, those are the three to plan around.
