Walker & Royce launch their own label with ‘Just What The World Needs

Walker & Royce have started their own label with ‘Just What The World Needs.’ It’s the first release on Rules Don’t Apply, the imprint they run themselves. A nine-stop tour of the same name follows, kicking off 27 January in Detroit, with support from Black V Neck, OMNOM and Kyle Kinch alongside Mindchatter and VNSSA.

The two-track EP features Mindchatter and VNSSA, one artist per track.

“I always have a lot of fun working with [Walker & Royce] and I feel like our styles compliment each other well,” VNSSA said.

Walker & Royce said Mindchatter’s session sold them immediately: “The reaction was instant the very first time we played it out — we knew there was something special about his voice and songwriting.”

The tour runs through mid-February, and the pair will play Ultra Music Festival in Miami for the first time shortly after it wraps.
