BEAUZ debuts on Purple Fly with ‘Crocodiles

Purple Fly Records, the NFT-fueled label known for keeping its catalog light on its feet, has BEAUZ’s ‘Crocodiles’ as its newest addition, and the brother duo’s first release there. The house cut leans heavily on vocals, featuring Lodato, the NYC-based producer, and Crooked Bangs.

Lodato enters 2023 fresh off winning the 2022 Electronic Dance Music Award for Dance Radio Artist of the Year, and ‘Crocodiles’ marks his first new release of the year. He and BEAUZ built a run of collaborations last year, including ‘Make You Say’ with Zedd and Maren Morris, which EDM.com named one of its best songs of 2022.

‘Crocodiles’ pairs a housey bassline with Crooked Bangs’ vocals, wrapped around a Peter Pan-esque story of holding onto love against the odds, kept light in tone throughout. It follows last year’s ‘Alone,’ BEAUZ’s previous release, and is out now via Purple Fly.
