Tchami and Malaa release the No Redemption EP

Tchami and Malaa have released No Redemption, the EP they’d been building toward on tour for the better part of a year. Advance singles ‘The Sermon,’ ‘Summer 99’ and ‘Kurupt’ surfaced over the past year, backed by a remix pack tied to their own No Redemption tour, before the full five-track project landed on Tchami’s Confession Records on 4 April.
The rollout followed a run on some of the year’s biggest stages. The pair played Ultra’s Main Stage together and toured North America under the same banner, and the EP arrives about a month ahead of another stretch: a sold-out show at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Center, a headlining date at Red Rocks Amphitheater on 11 May, and an EDC Las Vegas set on 20 May.
Confession, the label Tchami runs himself, put the release out. It leans into the two acts’ now-familiar mix: future house shot through with religious imagery, Tchami’s melodic pull set against Malaa’s basslines.
It opens with ‘No Redemption Intro,’ a brass-heavy cut. Tchami and Malaa debuted it live months earlier, opening their back-to-back set with it on Ultra’s Live Stage.
