STAR SEED release their eight-track EP, ESSENCE, via Lost In Dreams

Nytrix opens STAR SEED’s new EP, ESSENCE, with lead single ‘It’s Just You,’ out now via Lost In Dreams, Insomniac’s melodic-bass imprint.

All eight ESSENCE tracks were performed live before they were ever recorded, debuted in fall 2022 at the sophomore edition of Lost In Dreams’ own festival in Las Vegas. Five more joined the EP on release day: ‘Sunrise,’ ‘Falling’ with Zoe Moon, ‘The Abyss’ with Fruit, ‘Whatever It Takes’ with Crunr, and ‘Daylight’ with Charity Vance.

Nina Sung closes the record on ‘I’ll Be There,’ the same track that bookends ‘It’s Just You’ at the front. ESSENCE stands as STAR SEED’s biggest body of work since 2021’s Innerspace EP on Ophelia Records, and it ships with a 50-page novel written by the duo, expanding on the story behind it.

That novel ties each of ESSENCE’s eight songs into one continuous story.
