Reinier Zonneveld previews next album with Music Is The Answer

Reinier Zonneveld released ‘Music Is The Answer’ on 9 June via Filth on Acid, an early cut from a new album — his first full-length since 2019.

It’s a rework, not an original — a techno-fueled take on Danny Tenaglia’s classic of the same name. The track had already worked its way through Zonneveld’s live sets for two years, road-tested long before it saw an official release. On record it comes through thunderous and vocal-led, distorted acid textures under a softer line from JG, the guest vocalist credited alongside Zonneveld.

“In this new album, I feel like there’s more consistency to the music—it’s all techno, but I’m exploring techno in a much broader sense,” Zonneveld said.

Zonneveld’s discography goes back over a decade, and this year adds an attempt at the record for the world’s longest solo electronic set, plus the launch of his own festival, Karren Maar, in the Netherlands.
