DubVision and Jaimes take the final track on Martin Garrix’s new EP

DubVision and Jaimes take the final track on Martin Garrix’s new EP, IDEM, credited alongside Garrix on both versions of Empty — the original and an instrumental. The melody had already worked its way into Garrix and DubVision’s sets through 2023 and into this year, recognisable to crowds well before either version carried a release date. Empty is out via STMPD RCRDS, Garrix’s own label, on 8 March 2024, and follows Follow, his last outing on the same label. Garrix has been releasing music since 2012 and has topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll three times; this is his first release in 24 months.
The label’s catalogue also carries the likes of The Subculture, Arno Cost and CMC$, and Garrix is booked to headline Ultra Music Festival in Miami on 23 March. DubVision and Garrix have shared studio time for well over a decade, a run that stretches back to a 2014 edit of the duo’s Backlash and, later, took in Starlight, credited on that one with Shaun Farrugia.
