Solomun and Skrillex share Rumpta through Diynamic

Rumpta is out 1 July via Diynamic Music, a single credited to Solomun and Skrillex.

Solomun and Skrillex work from different places: Solomun, who keeps his house clean and minimal, and Skrillex, who has favoured a glitchy, recognisably mechanical sound for years. The track is soulful house, with a warm, bounding bassline and the glitch work over the top of it. It first surfaced in January, at Tehmplo Tulum, on Solomun’s return there.

Diynamic Music also has the likes of Modeplex, Doriann and Humans Musik on it.

Fills come through it distorted, and the vocal hooks are the part that catches, pointing back at classic house with something newer laid over them. Peak-time material, and the groove takes hold when the beat lands. One track, 3:30.
