GAWP and The Melody Men land ‘Sun Comes Up’ on Heldeep

GAWP has history with this label. The tech house producer/DJ returns with ‘Sun Comes Up,’ a new single made alongside The Melody Men. He’s headlined tours across the USA and UK, and back in 2019 supported Oliver Heldens, the label’s boss, on his own US run.

The Melody Men bring outside pedigree too, with past work alongside Mark Knight, Martin Ikin and Mason, among others.

‘Sun Comes Up’ leans on hooky vocal lines over a driving groove, built for a warm-weather crowd losing itself until sunrise. It’s out now via Heldeep Records.

GAWP described a studio session spent running vocals through tube gear and tinkering with drum machines, calling the result a bridge between underground and commercial appeal, built on the pull between the track’s breakdown and its drop while holding onto the pair’s usual collaborative feel.
