Disclosure release new single Ultimatum

Ultimatum is Disclosure’s first release on Universal-Island Records. A two-track single. Built on a stripped-back, minimal groove. It arrives after a stretch that held little beyond the duo’s residency at DC-10, the Ibiza club. “Sorry it’s been awhile—we have been missing you all immensely, so we wanted to share with you something we’ve been working on now the sun is shining and the trees are green,” Guy and Howard Lawrence said. The track, they added, came out of “messing around, having fun and experimenting with it.”

The vocal belongs to Fatoumata Diawara. Disclosure has said they came across her while making the record, and she is credited across the release — the title track and its companion, Ultimatum (Edit). Not a guest verse dropped into one mix. Hers is the only voice on either version, running straight through Ultimatum (Edit) too.
