CamelPhat’s B-Sides brings six extended cuts to When Stars Align

Abagar Quartet appears on Utopia, one of six cuts on B-Sides, CamelPhat’s new EP on When Stars Align. The track also credits Zafrir, and its extended mix gets the same treatment given to all six songs on the release. B-Sides itself arrived 11 October 2024.

That relationship with When Stars Align goes back to 2023, and B-Sides follows Endlessly (Remixes), the label’s prior release from the duo. Releasing since 2010, CamelPhat’s arrival on this particular label came later still. The label has also carried the likes of Laherte, Blackloud and John Cala.

The EP gathers six extended mixes blending melodic techno with more orchestral, emotional shadings, built from two years of production on tracks that had circulated as fan-favorite IDs in their live sets before now getting a release. CamelPhat’s Ibiza residency at Pacha ran through 2023, and 2024 brought another 20-date run alongside festival stops at Creamfields, Awakenings and Junction 2.

Another Dimension opens the set; Deep Inside follows directly after. Healing features RHODES and Venom features Frynn, both sitting further into the tracklist before The Advocate closes B-Sides.
