Bleu Clair debuts on a new label with Funk Accelerator

Bleu Clair’s new single, ‘Funk Accelerator,’ is his first release on BLEU LABEL / MCMLXXXI. It follows ‘Mistake,’ and it lands with each output making his reputation as one of house music’s nimbler minds a little harder to argue with.

The track samples vocals from Jelita. Her voice sits low at the opening of ‘Funk Accelerator,’ then grows more prominent as the track builds, trading space with a spoken sample that loops the title and calls back to an older sound. Bleu Clair pulled her vocal from his own single, ‘Have Me All,’ released in July 2021.

Bleu Clair’s catalog has landed on labels including Insomniac Records, Terminal Underground and Realm Records. Spotify by itself puts his audience above 450K a month.

The single arrives just ahead of Bleu Clair’s spring tour, which opens in Toronto on April 21. Stream it below.
