Benson and Tommy Trash share tech-house cut ‘Spilt Milk

Benson and Tommy Trash have released ‘Spilt Milk’ on Ultra Records.

It’s a tech-house cut built on a steady, pulsing groove with a dark, glossy edge, pairing two Australian producers who’ve spent the last two years on very different paths.

GRAMMY-nominated producer Tommy Trash stepped away from music for two years, a break he’s linked to a psychedelic experience with an Ayahuasca shaman. He’s since returned in force: 2022 alone has brought a North American tour and Milky Wave, the label he started this year, on top of a touring history built across some of the scene’s biggest stages. ‘Spilt Milk’ lands in the middle of that run.

Benson, an ARIA-nominated producer with millions of streams to his name, follows ‘String Tension’ as his most recent release.

Benson runs his own label, Medium Rare — though ‘Spilt Milk’ arrives via Ultra Records instead.
