Alok and Timmy Trumpet reach the Top 10 with ‘Underwater Love

Alok and Timmy Trumpet released ‘Underwater Love (LA Vision Remix)’ on 19 February. It’s a follow-up to ‘Metaphor’, their first collaboration together. “I’m a big fan of his infectious grooves and melodies, and with LA Vision coming on board to deliver his magic touch, I’m so happy with how this record has turned out and can’t wait to get it out there!” Timmy Trumpet said. This one lands with both artists inside the Top 10 of the Top 100 DJs poll, dance music’s annual ranking of the industry’s biggest names, for the first time. Alok at 5th. Timmy Trumpet at 10th.

LA Vision handled the remix. The reworked cut runs darker and more booming than the original, built for repeat plays. LA Vision described the song’s theme himself: “This is a song about the longing for a better love and the sense of suffocation that comes with not being sure of your feelings for someone.” It’s out now via CONTROVERSIA.
