Alison Wonderland previews ‘Loner’ with ‘New Day

‘New Day’ arrives as the newest single from Alison Wonderland’s forthcoming album, Loner, her first full-length release since 2018’s Awake. The album is scheduled for release on 6 May, and pre-orders opened alongside the single’s announcement.

Wonderland wrote, produced and sang ‘New Day’ herself, setting bright vocals against a soaring melody that tips into a futuristic trap drop. The track reflects her emergence from a difficult period and a renewed appreciation for what each day holds. It leans on the warped, heavily processed sound she is known for, built on a dark trap foundation, with impeccable vocals from Wonderland throughout.

The album’s rollout follows shortly after the announcement of Wonderland’s 2022 North American tour, with dates confirmed at Ultra Music Festival, Avant Gardner and Shrine Expo Hall. Two more Loner tracks are already out: ‘Fuck U Love U,’ with 3.6 million streams on Spotify, and ‘Fear Of Dying,’ with 1.3 million.
