Alignment lands his fourth KNTXT release with ‘Attack

Alignment released Attack on 24 June, his fourth outing on Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT. Born Francesco Pierfelice, the Italian-born, Berlin-based producer has called the label home since 2020; the four-track EP follows Power EP there, and comes after You Can’t Control Me, his most recent release anywhere else.

Attack’s title track opens on pounding drums and revved-up synth work, a fiery cut that fits the run Alignment’s been on: he’s become a real force in techno in recent years, and this fourth trip to KNTXT extends it.

‘Dream State’, ‘Multiverse’ and ‘The Way’ round out the EP, all four tracks built for the floor and shaped by a year spent back in clubs and festivals after time away from the road.
