Adam Beyer releases Legend on Drumcode after a summer of testing it

Adam Beyer spent last summer testing ‘Legend’ at festivals and again through club season, and today the track arrives on Drumcode. It is elegant techno and the first release Beyer has put out in 2023, on the imprint he has fronted for more than two decades. If you were in a festival field at any point last summer, this one is already familiar.

‘Legend’ follows ‘Dirty Lagoon’, the three-track EP he released early last year to considerable acclaim, and it lands with the rest of his year already filling up. He will headline the Yuma stage at Coachella, his first solo show at the festival. Beyer also appears on the debut headliner lineup for RESISTANCE Miami’s residency at M2, alongside Carl Cox and Charlotte de Witte. The first weekend of that season falls during Miami Music Week (March 23-26) and begins with a Drumcode takeover on the Thursday.

Anticipation has had a while to build. The release itself runs to two tracks, ‘Legend’ and an extended mix of it.
