WhoMadeWho shares ‘Silence & Secrets

WhoMadeWho spent the first half of the year on one-off singles, releasing the hypnotic ‘Mermaids’ in May and the sun-kissed ‘Summer’ in July, before the Danish trio confirmed a seventh studio album, ‘UUUU,’ was on the way and began building the campaign toward it. Years of releases like these have made them one of the more distinctive acts in their corner of dance music, known for the emotional depth and melody running through their songwriting. ‘Silence & Secrets,’ the third single from that run, arrives January 28th via Embassy One and follows ‘Nefertari,’ their most recent release on any label, though it will not be their first outing for the Berlin imprint.

The band’s fall tour keeps going, following a date at Love Machine Festival in San Diego on Nov. 14 with stops at Rakastella in Miami on Dec. 4, Tropicó in Acapulco the next day and Framework in Baja California on Dec. 12. WhoMadeWho frames the song around the pull toward realizing one’s own potential and living more fully as a person.
