JOYRYDE and Skrillex ready AGEN WIDA for OWSLA

2018 has kept Skrillex busy — new tracks, old ones, projects co-produced with others — but the Skrillex name by itself has mostly sat quiet this year. A bass house cut heavy with wobble reverses that, due out through OWSLA and credited to him alongside JOYRYDE, a bass house producer from the UK.

JOYRYDE teamed up with Skrillex on the track and revealed it first, posting a screenshot of the project file before either artist confirmed a date for it. He’s returning to OWSLA for the release, a label he’s landed on before, and the same stretch brought news of his own debut album, due shortly after on the same imprint: ‘Brave.’

It’s been over a year since JOYRYDE last put out new music of his own, so the early tease alone was enough to stir up anticipation online ahead of the release itself.

Whatever else has kept him occupied this year, the drop still hits the way Skrillex built his name on, on a track called ‘AGEN WIDA.’
