Nico Morano is the “yellow man” on Sun Sun Sun

Nico Morano — the Belgian producer — spent July finishing the instrumental for Sun Sun Sun. Then he left for a tour of India. It’s Ontourage Music’s tenth release, the label he’s now stayed with twice running, and a euphoric one built to cut through a grey autumn — out 25 October.

Morano hadn’t put out a solo single in seven months — not since Poison Of Choice. The track follows Opposite Minds Remixes on Ontourage Music. Its roster also carries Biesmans and Fabio Aurea.

The song is built around color. It’s made for the dancefloor — an afro house pulse that never lets up, running under piano and shimmering synths, dressed up as warmth and sunlight against the last days of summer. Morano calls himself the “yellow man.”

“Everybody knows me as the ‘yellow man’,” Morano has said. “So there is already a connection to my admiration of everything in this beautiful colour.”
