NGHTMRE and Big Gigantic release ‘Like That’ on Mad Decent

NGHTMRE’s annual Before XMAS Tour was still running when ‘Like That’ landed as a single, out now on Mad Decent. It’s his first plunge into funk electronic, teamed up with Big Gigantic, and his first new material since a collaboration with The Chainsmokers. It runs from early December through the end of the year.

The pairing makes for a genre-bending anthem, folding jazz phrasing and hip-hop swing into NGHTMRE’s heavier low end, set against a vocal sample that sounds pulled from an old record.

NGHTMRE’s first half of the year was quiet. This is the push at the close of it. Mad Decent’s roster has also carried releases from Yellow Claw, Lady Bee and Herobust.
