Kantor returns to Kantoria with ‘Floppy Disk

Kantor has been releasing music since 1998, and Kantoria has been his home since 2020. ‘Floppy Disk’ is only his second release for the label — his first there was ‘Blasted’ — arriving more than two decades into a catalog that keeps going.

The track leans into an essential cyberpunk mood: a minimal house bassline under attention-grabbing beats, a genuinely fun crossing of Kantor’s bass-heavy side with a techno pulse. The production carries it, built to hold a listener’s attention and pull the listener into Kantor’s world — among his most memorable cuts to date, built around that same minimal touch.
