Forma make their Anjunadeep debut with In Control

Forma released their In Control EP via Anjunadeep on 27 May, their first outing on the label.

The Argentinian trio have described the EP as being about emotional support — the value of a hug or a kind word at a difficult moment — and the title track leans into that: warm synths under lead vocals from band member Rocio, before Hold You turns dancefloor-ready with Pablo taking over on the mic. Still Alive completes the original tracklist. Forma have called the EP close to their hearts and hope it lands with listeners the way it was made — with care.

Forma’s run to this point has been fast: Hollow EP arrived in July 2021 on the back of a MUTEK Festival performance, and The Peak followed in March 2022 — two months before In Control. Their prior releases ran through Edu Imbernon’s Fayer imprint, Spectrum Spools, The Bunker New York and MEIOSIS, before this first outing on Anjunadeep.
