Offset, 21 Savage, Sheck Wes and Gucci Mane all appear on DJ Snake’s Enzo

Offset, 21 Savage, Sheck Wes and Gucci Mane each contribute a verse to ‘Enzo’, released today through DJ Snake Music Productions Limited.

Four rappers of that standing on one credit establish the record as a contender for the biggest collaboration of the year, and a lineup this size is generally noticed by the charts. Very little DJ Snake attaches his name to misses at the moment. The production underneath them is dark and steady, and it draws squarely on his hip-hop roots.

DJ Snake, the French producer, has maintained an international run of collaborations. ‘Enzo’ follows ‘Taki Taki’, and that record topped charts with the likes of Cardi B, Ozuna and Selena Gomez.

The hook belongs to Sheck Wes, who delivers it at full tilt while the synths swing loosely underneath and the percussion lands heavy. Snake told Zane Lowe recently that he had started the track two years ago, back before ‘Mo Bamba’ broke.
