Dark Heart releases Error, three tracks on IN / ROTATION

Dark Heart, an LA producer, gave up a Hollywood career as a talent agent to go full-time at music. The decks got the attention instead. ‘Error’ arrives today — three tracks on IN / ROTATION, named after the one in the middle. He has been releasing since 2016, and 2023 is the year he landed on this label. House and techno throughout, with FISHER, Vintage Culture, Kaskade and Sonny Fodera all getting behind the music somewhere across that stretch.

One of the three began with a vocal a close friend put in front of him, and he knew at once there was a record in it. The set is enthralling, pulsing beats all over it, and he’s becoming a name the scene has started watching for. ‘Amnesia’ opens and ‘Error’ follows, a big cinematic climb that lands on a bassline full of gloom.

Bolth is the only outside credit here. He comes in on ‘The Rhythm’ to close it out, where the techno goes properly dark and the drops arrive in layers.
