Daily Bread reveals Vanishing Point

Daily Bread released his new album, ‘Vanishing Point,’ on September 4 through Daily Bread Music. The Atlanta DJ and multi-instrumentalist’s thirteen-track record pushes the woozy, bass-driven strain of electro-soul he’s known for into calmer, more atmospheric ground, where dusty, chopped-up samples still collide against a wobbly low end.
The release lands just ahead of a 28-date North American headline tour in support of it, which opens in Spokane on November 5. From there the route runs through Portland, Minneapolis, Louisville, Cleveland, Buffalo, Washington, D.C., Raleigh and Nashville (among other stops), before the whole run closes out on December 19.
“There’s a point on the horizon you can see but never quite reach,” Daily Bread said of it.
Vocalists and rappers take fuller billing across the album, where Daily Bread’s hip-hop influence used to come through only as samples. Listen below.
