Above & Beyond announce Anjuna:Chilled 01

Above & Beyond played a downtempo rework of ‘Sun & Moon’, featuring Richard Bedford. The surprise encore that closed the set is now the lead single from ‘Anjuna:Chilled 01’, out 3 December through Anjunachill.

The song is as close to a signature as Above & Beyond have in trance and progressive house, carrying that reputation through live shows where it remains one of the defining moments of the night, and the original version alone has already passed 67 million streams.

Anjunachill, grown out of 2022’s Reflections project, is an imprint that has hosted some downtempo and neo-classical rearrangements of catalogue records. It has since put out more than 200 releases from 161 artists, streamed upward of 290 million times.

The real shift with this release is in who gets asked to take part. The imprint’s existing Revisited series is opening out to the wider Anjuna roster, pulling in artists who have been with the label for years alongside recent signings to give old tracks a new treatment. “We’re pleased to present to you a new chapter in the Anjuna catalog: revisits and reworks of label classics, distilled and chilled for your listening pleasure,” Jono said.
